Apple has decided to temporarily open free access to part of the content of the streaming service Apple TV +. Due to the corona virus pandemic, users around the world will be able to view eight projects without subscribing.

According to TJ , the company has opened access to the documentary film about animals “The Queen of the Elephants”, the series “House with a Servant”, “For the Sake of All Mankind”, “Dickinson”, an anthology of stories of migrants “Little America” ​​who moved to the USA, as well as children’s projects “Snoopy in Space”, “Helpers” and “Ghost Messages”.

How long the series will be available for free is not specified. You can watch them through the Apple TV application on iPhone, iPad, Mac and through the Apple TV set-top box, as well as on the service website . At the same time, users will still be able to issue a trial subscription for seven days or receive a free year of subscription when purchasing new Apple devices. After the trial period, the cost of access to the service in Russia will be 199 rubles per month.

Note that other companies also opened free access to some of the original content due to the coronavirus pandemic. For example, the HBO channel recently made free 500 hours of premium projects without ads on the HBO Max service, including the TV series Clan Soprano, Listening, Silicon Valley and others. YouTube video hosting has unblocked some of its original projects as part of the StayHome initiative.
