Difference Between ‘Reply’ and ‘Reply All’ in Email?

This PowerPoint will explain how to use the reply and reply all options within an email when an email is sent it can be sent to one or multiple people let’s say you received an email that was sent to many different people including you this provides two options for you you can either reply or reply all when you reply you reply to the person who sent you the email and only that person whereas if you choose to reply all your reply will be sent to the person that originally sent you that email and all the other people that receive the same email as you.

┬áSo let’s get started and see how it works begin by opening your email as you see here I have an example of an email from my professor highlighted in black sent to my entire class highlighted in blue next in the corner of the email you can either reply or reply all the choice is yours if I were to reply you see a draft of an email pops up that would only be sent to my professor if I were to reply all a draft of an email pops up that would be sent to my professor and all of my classmates my professor is highlighted in black and my classmates are highlighted in blue and that’s the difference between the two it’s that simple.
